Succulents in the Geraniaceae

We need to remember that a number of plants in the geranium family are desert dwellers. One of the most

spectacular plants in the Central Coast Cactus & Succulent Society 2010 show was Sarcocaulon vanderietiae in full bloom.

Amazing.

In addition, the vendors had plants of several species of Sarcocaulon and Pelargonium for sale. It was a great opportunity to see

and buy some plants that none of our local members grow.
